NURSERY CLEANER   - IMMEDIATE START

About the role

  • To work 2 hours per day from 6.50am-7.50am Monday to Friday.
  • To clean all areas of the day nursery including toilets, sinks, kitchen, play rooms and staff areas.
  • To clean all surfaces of the day nursery including chairs, tables, carpets, lino, wooden floors, paintwork, tiles and wallpaper
  • Ensure our car park is maintained at all times by removing any weeds and sweeping it.
  • To hover, mop, sweep, empty bins and dust.
  • To clean doors and windows both indoors and outdoors
  • Report any maintenance issues that prevent safe and efficient cleaning of these areas.
  • Ensure there is sufficient cleaning product stock levels and correct equipment within the nursery, ensuring that shortages do not prevent cleaning.
  • Ensure all high and low level dusting is completed.
  • Undertake any other cleaning duties as requested by the nursery  manager.

 

About you

You will:

  • Have some cleaning experience
  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Be willing to provide two references
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check

Cleaner Job Description

 

 

 

NVQ LEVEL 3 NURSERY NURSE (FULL TIME & PART-TIME) - IMMEDIATE START

We require THREE experienced NVQ Level 2 or 3 nursery practitioners/nurses to work either full time or part time.

About the role

  • You will work with children aged 0-5 years
  • Plan activities in line with the revised EYFS
  • Promote their welfare, implement creative methods of teaching
  • Ensure safety standards are met
  • Follow policies and procedures and contribute to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children.

 

About you
You will:

  • Be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 or higher with experience of working in early years.
  • Manage your key children folders and work in partnership with parents to help the children's learning and development.
  • Have a good knowledge of the EYFS and an up-to-date references are essential for this role.

NURSERY DEPUTY MANAGER

About us
Bluebirds Day Nursery is an exciting full day care nursery in Grays, Essex. We require a qualified full time deputy nursery manager to assist the manager in the daily running of the nursery.

About the role

  • Assist the nursery manager to provide professional leadership and management of the nursery
  • To help ensure that all children receive the high standard of care and education
  • To undertake the overall day to day management of the nursery in the absence of the nursery manager
  • To help ensure that the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage and OFSTED.

 

About you
You will:

  • Be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 or higher with experience of running similar setting.
  • Have excellent managerial skills, a real passion for childcare and proven ability to lead a team and nursery to outstanding results.
  • Have experience of OFSTED inspections, excellent knowledge of the EYFS and an up-to-date references are essential for this role.
