Our Nursery Fees

1. Operating Year
The nursery operates for 51 weeks per year, closing only during the final week of the year. All full-time (Stretched) nursery fee are therfore calculated based on a 51-week operating year.

2. Government
Funding only covers 38 weeks of the 51 operating weeks. The remaining 13 weeks will be at the Nursery full rate.

3. Fee Calculation Method
Nursery fees are calculated by combining funded weeks and non-funded weeks, with the full nursery fee applied to non-funded weeks (13 weeks). The total annual fee is then spread evenly over 12 months to ensure equal monthly payments.

4. Academic Year and Funding Period
The Government funding academic year typically runs from September to July of the following year. Funding is only available within this academic year period.

5. Funding & Transfering
Please be advised that your child’s early years funded entitlement has been allocated across the full academic year in accordance with Local Authority funding arrangements for the early years entitlements. In the event that you choose to withdraw your child from the nursery before the end of the academic year, we will recalculate the amount of funding that has been applied up to the effective date of withdrawal, in line with the Local Authority’s funding requirements. Any shortfall arising from this recalculation will be invoiced and will be payable by you. Government funding is not transferable within a term. This means that if a child leaves the nursery before the end of a term, any remaining funding cannot be transferred to another provider during that same term.

6.Notice Period
A minimum of one month’s written notice is required if a child is leaving the nursery at the end term.

7. Student Parents
The nursery supports student parents where childcare fees are funded directly by the college or Student Finance UK

8.Tax-Free Childcare – if eligible, you could save 20% of your childcare costs, up to £2,000 per child per annum Tax-Free Childcare can be used in addition to Government Funding. Please check www.childcarechoices.gov.uk
