  • NVQ Level 3 Nursery Nurse (Full Time & Part Time) – Immediate Start

    We URGENTLY require TWO experienced NVQ Level 2 or 3 nursery practitioners/nurses.

    The first position is a full time post and you will work 8-6pm Monday-Friday.

    The second position is part time and you will work term-term only from 12-6pm Monday to Friday, with occasional cover for staff absence.

     

    About the role

    • You will work with children aged 0-5 years
    • Plan activities in line with the revised EYFS
    • Promote their welfare, implement creative methods of teaching
    • Ensure safety standards are met
    • Follow policies and procedures and contribute to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children.

     

    About you
    You will:

    • Be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 or higher with experience of working in early years.
    • Manage your key children folders and work in partnership with parents to help the children’s learning and development.
    • Have a good knowledge of the EYFS and an up-to-date references are essential for this role.

    Assistant Cook (Part Time) – Immediate Start 

    We require an experienced COOK to work for 10 hours per week term time only.

    You will work alongside our current cook to manage the nursery’s kitchen, organise, prepare and deliver meals in accordance with the nursery’s menu, food policies and individual dietary requirements.

    Experience of working in a similar setting environment and understanding the varied needs of children and their families is essential. A minimum Level 2 Certificate in Food and Hygiene is desirable but not essential as training will be given. 

    You must have knowledge of allergies and how to prevent risk along with the understanding of the issues of equal opportunities. You be able to work alone or as part of a team hence good communication skills will be handy.

    In return, you will have receive a competitive rate, staff pension, 28 days of annual leave part of which will be a week off during Christmas and New Year!
